Collection: Dalia Collection
Ceramika Artystyczna Dalia is a family-owned Polish pottery workshop based in Bolesławiec, Poland. Founded in 2016 by Ewelina Czyżewska, the company produces handcrafted and hand-decorated stoneware known for its detailed floral and nature-inspired patterns.
- Origin: Ewelina Czyżewska, who had experience working in local potteries, started Ceramika Dalia in her garage. The company is now a growing family business with a modern workshop.
- Production: Each piece is made from local white clay, shaped, individually decorated with sponges and brushes, glazed, and fired at high temperatures. The company has moved towards producing its own molds to create original forms.
- Quality and function: Dalia pottery is extremely durable, chip-resistant, and safe for use in the oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. It is also lead and cadmium-free.
- Artistic style: The workshop is known for its extensive catalog of over 200 catalog designs, with a particular focus on lush, colorful floral motifs. They also produce unique ("Unikat") pieces signed by the artist who decorated them.
Dalia offers a wide range of designs, from traditional Bolesławiec-style patterns to more contemporary and artistic creations.
- Floral and nature-inspired: Common motifs include yellow sunflowers, blue and yellow butterflies, and multicolored lavender. Some of their patterns, like "Azul Garden," feature elegant floral arrangements in blues and greens.
- Seasonal themes: They produce special decorative items for holidays, such as Christmas and Halloween.
- Traditional elements: Dalia also uses classic Bolesławiec features, such as cobalt blue details and geometric stamp patterns, often to frame or accent their designs.
- Unikat patterns: Some of their most detailed and elaborate pieces, such as the "Green Fantasy" pattern, are considered unique and are hand-signed by the artist.
