Collection: Manufaktura Collection

Manufaktura is one of the most recognized and influential Polish pottery producers, known for its durable, hand-painted stoneware from Bolesławiec, Poland. The company is celebrated for exploring artistic freedom and developing both traditional and unique patterns.

  • Origin: The privately owned factory was established in 1993 in Bolesławiec through a partnership of the Smolenski and Zwierz families.
  • Production: Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from local white clay, hand-painted by artisans using traditional sponge-stamping techniques, and fired at extremely high temperatures.
  • Durability and safety: The high-temperature firing and special glaze result in stoneware that is exceptionally durable and highly resistant to chipping, scratching, and cracking. The glaze is certified cadmium and lead-free.
  • Functionality: Manufaktura pottery is designed for everyday use and is safe for the oven (up to 480°F), microwave, freezer, and dishwasher.

Manufaktura produces a wide variety of designs, from classic patterns featuring rich cobalt blue to more intricate "Unikat" (unique) designs signed by the artist who created them.

  • Peacock: The "Peacock" and "Peacock Eyes" designs, featuring repeating circles and dots in vibrant cobalt blue, are classic and enduring favorites.
  • Capistrano: This exclusive pattern features a white background adorned with yellow flowers.
  • Folk patterns: The company is also known for traditional folk art motifs.
  • Unikat: Signature Unikat patterns are more detailed and complex, such as "Sunshine Grotto" and "Psychedelic Swirl".
