Collection: Zaklady Collection

Zakłady Ceramiczne "BOLESŁAWIEC" is one of the oldest and most prominent Polish pottery manufacturers, with roots tracing back to the 16th century. They are renowned for their high-quality, durable, and functional stoneware, which features an extensive range of traditional and artistic patterns.

  • Origin: The company's roots lie in the pottery traditions of the Bolesławiec region, which were cultivated for centuries. The modern factory was established in 1946, following the devastation of World War II, with the help of prominent artists to restore the craft's former glory.
  • Production: All Zakłady pottery is handcrafted from local white clay, hand-decorated with intricate designs, and then fired at high temperatures. Their process is known for its high standard of quality and functionality.
  • Durability and safety: The stoneware is extremely durable and designed for everyday use. It is safe for the oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher, and is lead and cadmium-free.
  • Artistic range: Zakłady offers a wide variety of artwork, categorized into five levels from "Classic" (traditional) to "Exclusive Artistic" patterns. This broad range appeals to a diverse audience of both new collectors and long-time enthusiasts.

Zakłady is particularly famous for its traditional peacock eye and floral motifs, but also produces a vast catalog of other designs.

  • Classic and Traditional: Many patterns feature the iconic cobalt blue, such as the "Flowering Peacock" and classic peacock eye designs.
  • "Unikat" (Unique): These are more elaborate, artistic, and signed patterns, including "Lace," "Wish," and "Yellow Dandelions".
  • Seasonal and Holiday: The collection includes designs for various seasons and holidays, like "Snowman Bells" for Christmas.
  • Nature-inspired: Other common motifs include "Daisy Field," "Violet Tulips," and "Cobalt Swirl".
